On Site Audits
A Registered Nurse will pre-screen the hospital bill submitted. The length of stay will be equated in conjunction with the diagnosis, the procedures done and the itemized charges. The facility will be review simultaneously against previous audit history. A qualified determination will be made and the client will be advised if the bill in question is a good or bad candidate for audit.
MCR can provide both on-site audits and also desk audits. During the pre-screen process the type of audit performed will be determined.
